Starnbergersee and Freising 5.01.09

I couldn’t be bothered to travel very far but as I’d taken a day of my precious holiday so I was determined to get out of Munich. So I went to the suburbs. I went to Starnberg to look at the frozen lake and then I went to Freising to see the cathedral. I spent more time on the Sbahn than I did in the places themselves as they are either ends of opposite Sbahn lines. However, it was so cold that I didn’t mind being inside for a bit. I plan to go back to Starnberg in the summer because it must be really nice, Freising isn’t anything really special but I’ve been there now and don’t need to go again!
